Time to Renew

The Custer Community Organic Gardens' mission is to provide residents with an opportunity to come together for the purpose of food production, environmental education and to encourage multi-generational gatherings.

The city is ready to start taking rent payments for the 2012 gardening season, the plot rental fee will remain at $25/plot for the 2012 season. Current garden members have until April 13th to renew their plot to be assured of getting their last year’s plot number. New garden members can immediately start renting plots that were not rented last year or those plots that were turned back in by last year’s members.

If you had 2 plots last year you will be able to renew both now! (change from last year). If you do not plan on renewing, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can open those up for new members or current members that wish to rent 2 spaces. The plot rental/registration process will remain the same as last year. You will need to sign and date the 2012 Space Rental Contract at the city office – 622 Crook Street and pay the $25.00 rental fee per plot. Questions? City Hall 673-4824.
